Yael Neuwirth was born, raised and educated
in Israel.
Prior to her association with art, Neuwirth was involved
in teaching and language editing. She began painting at
a young age and as a daughter of an art teacher,
absorbed an atmosphere of art at home and saw painting
as an initial means of expression. Later in life she
perceived the material arts as a mode of self expression
dedicating herself primarily to painting.
She completed advanced art studies under
various artists. Her first solo exhibition was in 1974
(Tel Aviv) which was followed by many more individual
and group shows.
Yael's paintings are a swirl of brush
strokes in a stormy and mystical mélange of color. Her
portfolios contain portraits, landscapes, cultural
mythology and abstract expressionism. Her works
are found in private and public collections.
